Technologies I know

As a person who is very passionate about learning and IT in general, I have a wealth of experience. I work daily in VMWare ESXi ranging from 5.0 to 5.5. I started using powershell about 2 years ago and now a day doesn't go by where I don't script something. I work in MySQL and Informix databases regularly. I run 15 linux systems using CentOS, Debian, SUSE, and a custom built. I've been using an Asterisk PBX hosted on a custom linux since 2002 to run all my house phones. At one point, i also provided phone service to some friends in Afghanistan and Canada to offer TEHO service. I work with Cisco routers, switches, and unified communications apps on a daily basis. I have some experience with F5 load balancers and Checkpoint firewalls. I'm well versed in all Microsoft products and have experience authenticating Linux machines via AD.

As far as official credentials, I hold a Master of Art in Information Technology Management with an emphasis in Web Services Security. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Internet and Web Technologies.

My current certifications include, CISSP, CCNP Voice, CCNA Route (CCNP expired and I never renewed), Linux Professional Institute 101, Linux+, Novell Certified Linux Administrator, A+, Network+, Security+, and finally I hold a very outdated MCSE+i. I'm currently studying for the CCIE Collaboration although I will most likely renew my CCNP R/S first. If I can secure funding for the VCP-DV6 course, I may also go get that certification.

I work a lot with Managing frustrated teams and dealing with Cisco!
